I've never been to China, so I can't talk to you about the culture, language or place, but I have been badly addicted to drugs and alcohol, and have slept in shop doorways, on park benches and in the streets; so I know exactly what needs to be done in order to help Mary, Fred, Harry, Bill and Jim. I know what it's like to wake up hungry; I know what it's like to have nowhere to go, nowhere to be and nowhere to stay; I know what it's like to be living day-to-day hopelessly addicted.

This documentary aims to show people that it IS possible to rehabilitate people in desperate need, through the correct methods, right understanding from 

About me

I'm Stephen Smith, i'm a reformed drug addict and ex-bank robber and was homeless on the streets of London for 5 years.

I've since turned my life around and have been free from drugs for 42 years, and alcohol for 20 years. I am now a successful author, having written my life story, and now want to help other people going through similar struggles that I've been through.​
